Actives
The ingredients doing the work.
NAD+, peptides, glycerin, ceramides. Most products list them on the carton. Actives measures something different: how much of each one actually reaches skin and acts there, instead of staying in the bottle. The label number is secondary to the actual effect.
Barrier
Skin's natural wall, kept whole.
Every ingredient is evaluated for its impact on the skin barrier. If a formula strengthens one aspect but weakens the barrier, it doesn’t make it through. Barrier health comes first. Consistent care over quick fixes starts here.
STABILITY
It works on day one. And on day three-sixty-five.
A product has to perform across the year it spends on your shelf. Indian heat, monsoon humidity, hot bathrooms, long summers. If a formulation separates, oxidises, or weakens over six months, it fails Stability. Day one is easy. Day 365 is the test.
Texture
How it feels decides whether it gets used.
A product that performs but feels heavy gets used twice and quietly retired. Texture is the single biggest reason routines collapse. We weigh it as a parameter, not a finish, because a routine you abandon doesn't work, no matter what's in the bottle.
Delivery
An ingredient on skin isn't an ingredient acting on skin.
Particle size. Carrier system. pH at use. Delivery decides whether an active actually reaches the layer it's meant to act on, or whether it just sits on the surface and waits to be washed off. The label can be honest, and the delivery can still be wrong.
Climate fit
Indian climate is the test, not the exception.
Skin lives between 15% humidity in a Delhi winter and 90% in a Mumbai monsoon, and crosses that range in a single year. Climate Fit measures whether a formulation behaves the same across that span. Most don't. Ours have to.
Performance
What's still there once the routine becomes a habit.
Not first-week glow. Not a before-and-after taken in different lighting. Performance is the result skin sees over months of consistent use. If it doesn't hold up over six weeks of real life, it doesn't count. Slow and quiet is the goal.
